Double Press Power Button to Open Apps in OnePlus 12 Removed
Due to regulations and laws, all phones sold in India have an emergency calling feature that can be invoked by triple-pressing the Power button. On the other hand, OnePlus phones have the option to launch an app by double-pressing the Power button.
While carrying out this gesture, many users ended up triple pressing the Power button which in turn ended up initiating an emergency call. So to prevent that from happening, OnePlus removed the ability to launch apps by double pressing the power button altogether.

Some regions, such as the EU [CPH2581], do not support call recording due to their laws and regulations.
