In this guide, we will show you the steps to downgrade your Nothing Phone from Android 15 to Android 14. The OEM just caught everyone by surprise when it announced that it has jumped onto the bandwagon housing the fifteenth iteration of the OS. What was even more intriguing to note is the fact that it chose its budget Phone 2A as the first beneficiary of the same. As a result of this, you are about to get blessed with tons of interesting and new goodies.
However, one shouldn’t forget the fact that the update is currently in the testing phase. As a result of this, there are bound to be bugs and performance-related issues. Moreover, you might also come across issues like device overheating, excessive battery drainage, and system apps constantly crashing. Likewise, some features would be intentionally missing or might not work along the expected lines from these beta builds.
All in all, being the first in line and testing out the bleeding edge features before anyone else does have its fair share of downsides as well. And that is the reason why it is never recommended to make these testing builds as your daily drivers unless you’re a developer. However, if the tech geek within you cannot stop yourself from trying out these builds and have already installed this update but are now lamenting your decision about the same, then fret not.
In this guide, we will be listing out the steps that should help you downgrade your Nothing Phone from Android 15 to 14. So without further ado, let’s get started. But before that, let’s make you aware of the bugs that you are likely to come across when installing these updates onto your device.
