In this guide, we will show you the steps to install and set up Shizuku on your Android device. Thanks to the open-source nature of the OS, you can carry out a plethora of tweaks and customization on your device. Likewise, there are a plethora of under-the-hood hidden features that could be unearthed as well. However, carrying out most of these tweaks requires you to have administrative-level privileges, or in other words, a rooted device.

Since there are quite a few risks involved with root [including the likes of SafetyNet and Play Integrity getting tripped], many users prefer to maintain a safe distance from the same. So what else could be done? Well, this is where Shizuku comes into the picture. Shizuku allows apps to use system-level APIs with elevated privileges simply via ADB on non-rooted devices. Moreover, there are a plethora of domains in which it has made its presence felt, including Audio, Automation, Communication, Customization, Development utilities, Entertainment, File management, Installer & app stores, Networks, Software management, and Vendor-Specific tweaks.
